Caste system in modern India

We all know that caste system has been proliferated down into the nexus of Indian culture and society, there has been a drastic change in people due to the introduction of the reservation system for certain kind of people in India. The deprived caste which we call in India has been lifted up considerably with different policies of government though the desired results have never been achieved. But we can say that the constitution of India could able to change the life of majority of Indians thought protection, safeguard and defense of rights of certain individuals in the country. This could able to bring up those who used to be called as deprived and backward in escaping their fate of being persecuted by poverty and social structure and could able to lead considerably happy life free from discrimination in the society.

But the minds of the people which have been entrenched with the system of hierarchy and caste  couldn't able to adopt the liberal ideas as many would expect. They started to form a new kinds of demarcation among them in order to satisfy their hierarchical ego. They started to build sections of society where there is no safeguard or legal defense from constitution of India. We can call it modern caste system. Though many of the poor in India still in that old caste system this new kind of caste system could able to proliferate into middle class of India which could able to satisfy the hierarchical ego in India minds. Few of them are Educated- Uneducated, Rich - Poor, type of living, Area of living, Software - Hardware, Employed - Unemployed, Government - Non Government, Type of profession etc. On these they are making tours, picnics, feasts and even marriages. When somewhere in India if an inter-caste marriage it happening with the consent of the parents believe me, it will be something equal on above mentioned categories. These differences among the people are not practiced openly as it is in caste system, but subtly shown in life preferences and choices of life. It is not just happening in India. It happens everywhere. In class, students form into groups bases on the location they come from, Caste, family background, rich and poor, type of food they eat and there always exists differences among these groups and working along would be always difficult. We find no open hostility but obscure actions of being pushed away from a group of people.

We can say, it is impossible to bring equality among the people and an egalitarian society in this world. Why should it? Isn't there any difference between a person who is rich and who is poor? Certainly there is. If not the caste, I would recommend him cause he is my classmate, he is my family friend, he is somebody who would come equal to me an I could get acquaint with and he is something like me. This discrimination has even creep into families where they are divided based on how much someone is earning. It is more virulent in middle class and lower middle class families in India. A family in a street will get outcast if everybody donated from something and that family failed to because of their economic problems. Why? With so much struggle Indian middle class people emerged. They went through so much hard ship. Getting acquaint with somebody lower them would again make them look into their past. Most of the people are not ready for that. In their view, empathy over poor would only make them slow in life. An example, we spend huge on a friend who could able to fend himself to appease him, make him love you or to flaunt but suddenly we would check for coins to give a homeless or beggar. It is fair. What will come if we donate to somebody on road? Let differences exist among the people and make use of it for personal benefits. After all, it is about growing up and encouraging other. Whom? let it be our favorite, not who is in need.
