Be a Leader and Choose One

Many of us had participated in building this country through implicit decisions by our representatives. We choose how our society has to be for the next five years and very nook and cranny of our life. Our present day life is the effect of society and society is effected by the policies and rules of the government which implicates us.  If you keep grumbling or scoffing about the activities of the government, know that, it is you who made it last time. If you don't, don't worry, you will get it. It is not the time to start doing because your Right to Vote is already 73 yrs. old. It is not only important to cast your vote, it is also important to choose the right person who could reflect the public need and wellness in an assembly is indispensable.

 People, look at where we live in. If you are so dissatisfied with the way it is, why don't you use your power to change it into a right course. Somebody who got freedom for this country gave us freedom to choose what this country should be and given us the right to choose our future. A power which can make a prosperous society and a well-being individual. “You " got the power to choose "our" person or not to choose anybody. Then why waste that in choosing a wrong person with popularity and fake promises. If you don't know what to choose or haven't got time to think about it, evaluate few basic criteria before you choose someone.

1.      Don't choose a person who changes party or principles for their own needs and benefits.

2.      Don't choose a person who works for one time aspects of society like corruption, industrialization, obliteration of begging, bringing Singapore or America here etc.

3.      Don't choose the person based on our own communal bases like caste, creed, race, religion, or region unless he/she is competent enough to stand in assembly to talk about us but not about his party leader and its political future.

4.      Choose a person who as the exhaustive view on needs of the people and working of government.

5.      Choose a person who can assert his views and actions on problems of the people at any time and at any place.

6.      Choose a person who mentions himself as a part of human society but not as a separate individual community.

7.      Choose a person who is accessible to every citizen at any point of time when in need but not somebody who runs on escort and bounds himself in his suite room till election time.

8.      Choose a person who talks about us, people, but not his fellow political members or his leader's eulogy.

9.      Don't be credulous. Don't choose freebees and fake promises (How one can create 20 million employment or what is the point of making a city into a Singapore when 0.1 million villages are in poverty).

10.  Choose somebody who thinks about the canon of the problems of the society but not the superficial effects (measures should be taken to improve the crop production and husbandry security to farmer but not for the revocation of debt interest).

This is how a leader do things and I believe you are one and you got the power. We are all leaders of our society, he is just our representative. Remember it. His actions are the reflection++ of our thoughts. How worst they go depends on how worst you think...
